Open Place is a support and advocacy service that coordinates and provides direct assistance to people who grew up in Victorian orphanages and homes prior to 1990. Our service aims to be accessible, welcoming and open to new ideas.
We aim to help people who identify as Forgotten Australians, or Pre-1990 Care Leavers, to deal with the legacy of your childhood experiences and provide support to improve your health and wellbeing.
View our upcoming social support groups, drop-in centre activities and other events for Forgotten Australians.
Event details will be added as they become available.
